Color Trends for Men

Men gravitate toward neutrals and blue.  It’s just what they do.  However, this fall/winter, orange and mustard are popular.

Not only are these colors great for sweaters and shirts, but also accessories.  A scarf  or hat can be a small way to incorporate these colors into a look without taking as much risk.

Wear color to work with black or gray trousers and casually with denim.  It’s that simple!  Plus, it will be easier to catch a woman’s eye by standing out in the crowd and looking fashionable doing it.

Be a TopMan

Generally, guys don’t like to shop.  Going to the mall is their idea of torture.  They would rather buy clothes, try them on at home and return them later rather than spend time in a dressing room.  Online shopping is ideal for guys- it is quick, easy and they never have to leave their favorite chair.

But, this presents another problem.  Many times guys will wander the mall and department stores looking for jeans (or jacket, etc) only when they need that item immediately.  To shop online, men need to anticipate their clothing needs and know what online retailers to visit.

Most people do not live in cities where finding fashion forward men’s clothing is an easy task.  This is another reason why shopping online is ideal for them.

Men seem to have their work ensembles down- button down shirt and slacks- but, their casual clothes need some help.  I have found TopMan, brother site to TopShop, is a great place to shop for current men’s fashion.  TopMan is not expensive, which is great for casual, trendier clothes- who wants to spend a ton on a shirt that is only good for a season or two?

Plus, many times guys aren’t sure what is “in.”  Just point him to the TopMan site.  At first, he may be a little skeptical about these trendier items, but reassure him that you love it when guys dress on trend.  Of course, he won’t love everything since the clothes skew toward a European clientele, but there are plenty of options.

Men, don’t be afraid- just go for it!
